New Rescue Boat

We have welcomed the arrival of a new boat. This wouldn't have been possible without the public's kind donations and on going support in helping us continue saving lives on the Humber Estuary. Thank you!

The boat is now in service and ready to help anyone who needs our assistance.

David Roberts Retires!

Best wishes to our chairman, Dave Roberts, on his retirement from his day job. Dave is our longest serving crew member with over 30 years dedicated service and will continue on with Humber Rescue as chairman and crew member.

Community Shop

Humber Rescue would like to say a thank you to the New Community Shop based in Market Weighton. Upon the farewell of their shop, they have chosen Humber Rescue as one of their beneficiaries in kindly donating a large sum of money.

It is contributions like these which are testament to the support the community provides.

110 Mile Marathon

In just over 1 week our volunteer crew member Rich McKeating will be running in a 110 mile marathon to raise money for both Humber Rescue and The Royal Marines Charity.

Foreshore Litter Pick

Humber Rescue Volunteers put away their life jackets and took out their litter pickers today, opting to spend their Saturday afternoon in the sun and removing litter from Hessle Foreshore; keeping the area clean for the whole community.

VE Day

Yesterday evening, a small number of our volunteer crew members came down to the boathouse, and shined torches into the air to celebrate the anniversary of VE Day.

Marking 75 years since the end of the Second World War in Europe.

Safety Announcement

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic situation it has been decided by our Chairman to close down access to our boathouse for the safety of our crew and public.

Following government guidelines we will notify and update where possible when we will be reopening to the public.
